Dodging Hurricanes

The Bahamas is the only country in the area we are in presently where I, a Russian, can be as a tourist. In the mean time, more and more hurricanes are being born in the Caribbean and the Atlantic. If one heads for us, as they predict with the new system developing in the middle of the Atlantic, we will have to run. Where? Good question. Meg and my only options are the countries where we have no desire to find ourselves in, let alone to sail to: Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba.

Imagine you are a Russian on a sailboat, or her partner, in Bahamas, and a hurricane is heading for you? What would you do?
